new to obs/mixed reality need help badly

i have tried over and over to get mrc and obs installed and working. i always end up with the same issue. when i search for device, my pc finds my headset and i go through the sync process just fine. but when its over. it says nothing connected. and when i open my scene that was save at setup. i've just got a gray box. i have gone step by step with that youtube video, and i still can not get it to work for me. can sum1 please help. be really nice if someone could connect to my pc and setup for me remotely. i really want to make some mixed reality videos

wow. Almost 24 hours later with 38 view and not 1 single person was cable to post anything that would be helpful to me so i can get started making mr videos?

You should probably take a look into the OBS overview and help documentation and make yourself familiar with the basics:
