Question / Help New to OBS, having high latency in game

Hi everyone,

Looking forward to becoming active in this forum and being able to offer value to this community. I've been a PC enthusiast for a long time and just recently (two days ago lol) picked up some streaming equipment.

I've spent a decent amount of time playing with OBS setting to try to put out a quality stream, and I wanted to come to you guys to see how I might be able to further optimize my settings. My stream quality seems very good with minimal lag (although there is some), but my main issue is increased ping in CSGO and choppiness in terms of FPS.

I've attached the log file for my last stream and I would love any advice you might be able to give me.

Thanks!

The increased Ping depends on your Connection, if lowering your Bitrate fixes that then you got your answer on that.
20:50:22.502: Output 'simple_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 13098 (40.9%)

For the Choppiness you can try to disable your Preview in OBS and maybe try to play with a single Monitor
