New to OBS and can't get rid of a few issues I've had.

Here is the log: https://obsproject.com/logs/Ya0wZO8cMGXI1tFD
I record from my xbox series x with an elgato hd60s+ into my laptop and my mic is a blue yeti with my headset plugged into it.
I don't stream, but when I'm recording the video keeps stuttering. The game itself runs fine on my xbox but seems to get really slow on my laptop.

I've also been having trouble with audio. I can see in the mixer that it's picking up audio but regardless of if I have it set to monitor or not, the only audio from the game is the occasional random noise as if it took a quick second of the audio and then cut back out again.

I'm sorry if this is actually really simple and pretty much just a waste of time but I just started to try to use OBS after a while of using 4k capture utility because capture utility doesn't work with discord.

For 1080p60 you should have your bitrate set to at least 6000 bps Though for recording you can go much higher for better fidelity

Your capture device is running with 120 fps. I don't know how well supported this is for the xbox and the capture device, however you get best results with everything at 60 fps or whatever fps is lowest within the different steps: generating (game), transferring (capture), compositing and encoding (OBS video config).

Hmm. I don't even remember setting anything like that up. Thank you very much. I'll try it and see if it works.

This might sound incredibly stupid, but I can't seem to find anywhere to change it.
