Hey guys,
I just bought everything to stream , new pc, logitech c920 webcam, elgato hd60 capturecard, 2 screens.
I wanna stream games from my ps4, so far i did everything right. Downloaded the software for obs and elgato..installed everything so that works. The problem is: i start to launch the ps4 then my game capture program. Everything still works then i launch OBS,make a scene, but when i'm trying to make the source game capture / i get a black screen and it doesn't show my game that is playing on my other screen for the ps4. I did everything i could so far from what ive seen on youtube but still nothing.
Hope that you guys can help me out.

I've just tried to do it without launching the elgato program. If i go in obs/ source/ gamecapture then theres nothing to select.
I can't select my elgato then and if i turn on the elgato gamecapture program, refresh in obs then it emerges. Still got the black screen.

yeah, dont use game capture is what he meant, OBS has a video capture source to use the elgato with. close the elgato software and do it that way instead. remove the game capture as well. just use the video capture device and point it to the elgato. if you have the elgato software running, it will not show up in OBS.

is this what you mean ? cause I don't have what you got. Just deleted obs 1 hour ago and installed again.
Yeah, remove all the game captures and the monitor capture and make sure the elgato software is not running even in the background. video capture devices can only be captured once, so if any software is open that would show the elgato video, it wont show up. also make sure there is an active game on your PS4 up to display.

When i don't launch anything of elgato program then i'm not able to select the program were i want my gamecapture source from.

Is there maybe a possibility that 1 of you guys can help me out, and i give my pc control to you(teamviewer) so you can give it a try.
I' a real noob when it comes to technical part of the pc. I even wanna pay for it if it works ofcourse.
Trying it now for the last 4 days but don't know what to do else.

You don't want to use game capture to attempt to capture the elgato.

You capture using video capture device.

Thats what you are not understanding, you dont capture the elgato though game capture, remove that. you capture it like a webcam or other video capture device.

Ok now i understand, don't touch the game capture.
If i go for the source videocapture, only thing i see is the logitech c920 webcam.
So far i know i need my webcam to record myself in the stream ofcourse.

yes, remove all game captures first, and close the elgato software, restart OBS and add a new video capture source. make sure the elgato has something to capture.

Ok i did all of that...gameplay is on, no game capture program or source is selected. Still it looks like it doesn't read my capture card cause i can't select it. So that is the problem,,,,,if i can select the gamecapture then it should be rolling.
