New streamer, please help!

Hi guys

I am completely new to streaming and OBS.

I tried recording a short gameplay session (Unreal Tournament on Epic Games) today however the recording was extremely low quality and my actual gameplay performance was terrible.

Running at 1080p

My system specs are as follows:
Amd Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 2070 super
16gb 3200mhz ram

Main monitor 1080p @ 165hz
Second monitor showing OBS 1080p @ 60hz

I thought that with the above system I would have no issues recording/streaming with minimal affect to game performance .

Am I missing something here or running completely wrong settings?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You hardware is more than adequate
Your OS or OBS config is most likely culprit
monitors at 2 different refresh rates a known issues for older Windows versions

Thank you for the reply. Will post a log file of the session in question tonight.

I have attached the log file. You will note 2 short recording sessions. I was also playing around with settings prior and just after as this was my first time using OBS to record. Please see if you can see what the issue might be. I would truly appreciate any help.

You have audio capture at 2 different sampling rates - I recommend fixing that
You didn't record and/or stream long enough for certain details to be gathered/recorded in the log. Try 5+ minutes
I'm not a subject matter expert on video encoding settings, so hopefully someone else will comment on those settings.
