new PreSonus sudio24c - can't get any audio

I just unboxed my new PreSonus 24c audio interface, plugged it into my pc with the provided cable, downloaded the software that came with it, plugged my mic into channel 1, can hear myself through the headphones, set up a scene in OBS and selected the Studio 24c as the input audio device from the dropdown list, and there is no audio showing up in OBS when I speak into the mic, although I can hear myself. What's weird is the meters for the PCs internal mic and audio shows nothing too.....any ideas? Here's the link to the log file. This is my third audio interface I've tried and am getting desperate. Do I need a plug in? VoiceMeeter or reStream?

I took the PreSonus back into the office and plugged it into the iMac and launched OBS, selected a new audio input source as the studio24 and talked into the microphone going into the interface. The OBS audio input device meters picked up my mic just fine. What's going on with the pc that no audio is registering in OBS?
