Hi everyone! Just got a new build and have been playing with my OBS settings to maximize quality, looking for suggestions because I don't think I have it set to my fullest potential...
I stream on Twitch using OBS. Mainly playing PS4 using Elgato HD60 S, sometimes playing games on PC. I do not record, only live stream.

PC Build:
Ryzen 9 3900x
RTX 2070 Super
16 GB RAM

Link to last log file:

I'm having a hard time understanding the log file, but is my Elgato limiting me currently? I figured with this build Blackout on PS4 would look better, but even my c922 Pro Stream Webcam doesn't look HD most of the time. Also, my PC games are setup as a Display Capture source.

uncheck "enforce streaming service encoder settings" under settings -> output. Set your bitrate to 8000 and your x264 preset to medium. That will result in the max quality twitch will be able to give you with their bitrate limits.

looks fine, i don't think you will gain anything with dropping to 900p only add blur. The only thing is that your capture card is set to 30 fps in the logfile while you stream with 60 fps. Set your Capture card to 60 fps or your stream to 30 fps.

In the Elgato’s ‘Configure Video’ menu it shows in Signal Status 1920x1080p @ 59.94fps. So not sure how else to adjust the capture card? Attached is a photo of the Configure Video menu.

on sources there is your capture device, right click on it and select properties there. What does it say there?

Yeah I see what you mean. It was set to Device Default, so I switched to custom and set resolution to 1080 and FPS to Highest FPS. Gonna try that now. Thanks!
