Question / Help New OBS Studio capturing Steam Overlay on Game Capture mode

Ever since I downloaded the "OBS Studio" which was renamed from "OBS Multiplatform" I've been seeing my steam overlay get captured by OBS. I never changed the capture mode, it's still on game capture.

I have no logs past January 4th for some reason.

What options are enabled in the game capture properties?

Default. Just "capture cursor".

I noticed a new option about steam overlay is there (it's unchecked). I tried checking it to see if it would change anything but it didn't.

Nope, no solution yet.

Sorry I didn't see this thread sooner, I would have added mine to it. Same issue, including for a non-Steam game. Have a capture to show it too.

@sneak, I believe I isolated the issue. Tell me, are you unchecking Capture any fullscreen application under Properties? I do and that was when it would capture my Steam overlay also.
