(new) nvenc option isnt showing up

there isnt an option for the new nvenc encoder on my obs studio and obs streamlabs and im using the old one
is there a fix to this ?
i5 procc
gtx 750 ti
win 7 64 bit

Your GPU doesn't support NV12 which is required for new NVENC. Consider updating to Windows 10 too.

if i upgrade to win 10 is there a chance it will fix the prob ? and what is nv12
