I've set up so that my spare GTX 980 is running as a dedicated encoder for the new nvenc, now if I have the game screen up but not active it's perfectly fine, soon as I have the game active and up the OBS FPS drops down to 1-3 and gets really bad stuttering which shouldn't be the case for the 980 with nothing loaded onto it
