Question / Help New League of Legend Streamer Help

Hey all,

I have been playing League of Legends for 3 years now, and I have decided to stream my games after buying a new custom rig.

My problem is that when I play the game, without streaming, in full screen mode, i'm pushing upwards of 200 FPS, max settings, completely smooth as butter.

Now when I stream, I understand the FPS will drop but it drops to a level that fluctuates anywhere from 40 fps to 90 fps depending on screen activity. I've tried windowed mode, borderless mode and just can't get my settings right to where I can maximize the speed in in game FPS and have a good looking stream.

My log is:

and internet speed is

I have 8 more GB of Ram that I can put in my computer if you think that will help, or should I overclock my CPU to get better FPS while streaming? Any tips and suggestions

http://www.twitch.tv/risencaseynelson is my twitch with some videos on it.

The ultimate solution would be a way to play the game on full screen mode with how smooth it is and how great the FPS is while streaming..any ideas?

both the game and obs are fighting for the cpu time. you can make obs use less cpu by
using the 32bit version with game capture while playing on the real full screen mode. unless you really want to capture the monitor not just the game.

the resolution downscale should be at 1280x720 and frames per seconds should be at 30. the preset should be veryfast.

Thanks for the reply. When I try the 32 bit and try to use game capture, it doesn't show league of legends as an option. I have it loaded up ready to play?

What do I need the in game resolution to be? Does it need to match the desktop resolution or the downscale resolution?

1920x1080 1600x900 or 1280x720 are all fine . just go with the first one if its your monitor's native resolution.

Going with the 32 bit seems to keep the FPS quite well and I can do full screen. Is the resource usage that big a difference between 32 and 64? I'm at a constant 90+ which is solid.

believe it or not 64bit is faster and more stable than 32bit its just that the game it self has no support for 64bit capture.. so a 32bit OBS is required, game capture has almost no cpu usage compared to monitor capture.
