Question / Help New laptop, now my videos look weird?

On my old desktop my recordings were perfect quality, perfect fps. but the power supply burnt out and i needed a gaming laptop rather than desktop so i bought one instead of fixing my desktop. Now I'm trying to record gameplay and i have my settings correct (i think?) but the video looks so weird. i think its the quality but the quality is set to exactly same as the actual game. so i'm not sure what the problem is. heres pictures of my settings and what the recording looks like. https://imgur.com/a/gYGqBDM
