Question / Help New issues I haven't had before.

I've been streaming for a while with OBS and not having any issues. My Bit rate is set to about 2500 and my upload speed is around 4.5 mbps, so I know that's not a problem. I have a very high end laptop that has not given me any problems, until now with OBS.

Just in the last two days, I've been getting a red light on OBS in the bottom corner, and dropping a crapton of frames. This only recently started after I updated OBS but when I try using Xsplit, I get dropped frames too. My temps stay around 65-70 degrees C while I stream high process games so I know that isn't an issue either.

Anybody know why it would just start crapping out on me like this? It's really discouraging for somebody trying to build a community.

That's to Dallas TX. My twitch server is in Miami, so my speeds would be a bit faster.

Are you still having problems? Twitch was kind of exploding today, so maybe it was just a problem with today.

As a side note, you should really be avoiding Monitor Capture, it's causing many many lagged frames for you.

Yes I am. I'm not using Monitor cap anymore. Trying to do a simple window cap with Magic 2013 and it's redlighting and dropping over 75% of frames. I don't know what's up with it. I am wireless but my internet is always stable.
