New here and New to OBS... Need help on recording a LIVESTREAM....URL YT

Im so confused by all the options... I figured out Screen recording.... dont exactly wanna do that...

I cant find a simple way to ENTER the URL of a YT video and have it DIRECTLY record the stream and audio... can anyone help or give me pointers...

I would love to be able to record the STREAM Directly from its YT url...

OBS is the wrong tool for this. If you need to save the original stream data from a streaming service, use a tool like youtube-dl or its successor yt-dlp. Keep in mind you need to have permission/license from the streaming service to download a stream this way.
