New audio track default selection

I just recorded for 2ish hours and only at the end of the recording realized i hadnt deselected tracks 3-6 and so dont have an isolated track for the game or my mic. Is there a way for me to change which tracks a new audio source records to by default? I want to make it so i cant make this mistake again.
