I've been streaming for about a month now and never had a problem with it before. I started streaming Diablo III on RoS launch day and since then I'm always randomly dropping frames and sometimes will disconnect. But it's really on and off. For a while I wont have a problem and then randomly start dropping frames. Could it be from twitchs side? I speed test and still get the same results as before and i've even restarted my router but that didn't fix anything.

Yeah I went over that. I was just curious if it was maybe because SO many people are streaming the same game that maybe that could be the problem?

BUMP

I still have problems. I've tried everything on the pinned thread and still had the same problem. I stream at 3500 kbs and it will randomly drop to 1500 and up for no reason. I'd be fine if it dropped frames every now and then but when is annoying is that it will lag it will drop all kbs and have to restart.

I've tried lowering bit rate and still have the same problem.

Bump again : (

So I was streaming wireless while having these problems. What I didn't get is I was streaming wireless and never had problems until now. So today I moved my router and plugged into my computer wired. I'm still getting the same frame drops....

There's not much we can do for you beyond what's suggested in that thread. Dropped frames and disconnects are networking issues, so you'll need to troubleshoot to determine where the problem is.

OBS is not receiving connections so opening a port shouldn't have any effect. If it was important it would have been one of the steps in the troubleshooting thread. :)
