So I try to test out the recording but when I check, it says "To preform the requested action, an additional Nero product is required to enhance your current version of Nero with advanced audio and/or video technologies." I have to buy it or only the sound will play and it wont show the video. Is there a loophole or am I doing something wrong?

Use a different media player like VLC or MPC-HC instead of whatever it is you're trying to use now.
