Needing help with basics

Hi, I am relatively new to OBS, and I would like to mainly use it for recording purposes. I haven't really gotten into too much of it, but I have messed around with a few things. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what I need to have it optimized for my PC.
The specs of the PC are as follows:
• 1920x1080, 60Hz
• Intel(R) Core i5-8300H CPU @2.30GHz
• 8GB RAM (7.85GB useable)
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

Is this enough to be able to properly use OBS, or am I lacking something?

You need at least 8GB more of RAM.
Also, run the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu) and apply the settings it gives. Do not change it. This are the best settings you can have for the hardware you have.
Now restart OBS and test it for at least 30 seconds. Look inside Help menu. Upload the current log file and paste the url to the log in here. Click on the Analize button to start troubleshooting common issues.

I appreciate the help, and unfortunate to hear about needing more RAM. Ran the Configuration, and I'll have to test it when I am not busy.
