Attack time, Hold time, and Release time are 3 options that are not explained. Therefore, it is impossible for me to optimize these options for my microphone. If I'm taking a drink and set my cup on the desk, sometimes my laptop microphone will turn on, which is ok, but it will stay open for longer than I would like. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I inadvertently make a noise that triggers the laptop microphone to turn on, I don't want the microphone to stay on for more than about three seconds. I was hoping these attack time, hold time, and release time options, which I don't understand due to a lack of documentation on the internet, could help me. All input is welcome.
