i'm posting this thread because i'm in a dead end and i really need your help withe the settings on obs so i can stream properly. First of all my set up:
Cpu: i-7 3820 @ 3,6 (OC @4.5)
Gpu: Amd radeon r9-280
Ram: 16gb
OS: win7 (sp2)
Internet(down/up): 50mbps down / 5mbps up (4.7 tbh on speedtest)
Obs settings :
resolution 1280x720
Frames: 60
Bitrate: 2500 with buffering 2300
x264 preset: very fast
And now about my problem. First of all im having a BIG cpu usage while playing and streaming (around 80%) and after than none of my "viewers" can actually watch me playing because every 2 mins the video is starting to buffering for about 1 min or so. So my question is. What am i doing wrong? Have i done something wrong with my settings? I know that there might be a same thread as this one but i'm searching around for about 2 hours without any good hint on how to fix it. So i really need your help!!
P.S (sorry for my bad english)

Try 1280x720, 30fps, 2000kbit video, and the slowest sounding x264 preset your system can actually handle.

DISABLE "Use Custom Buffer Size"

Tried it but still the same.. less buffering for viewers tho but still every 1-5 mins 20 sec buffering

People are more likely to stick around for a lower picture quality stream if it's not buffering. You may need to lower bitrate and resolution some more.
