Question / Help Need some help configuring OBS

I'm planning on doing a LP of a PS2 game (using PCSX2). With the emulator I get full speed, and I run the resolution at 480P, and native IR.

Speed test results:

I'm wondering what quality setting will work best (playability), but still look good. Currently on quality level 8 I get 52FPS-55FPS while streaming. That is playable, but it still feels a little off. I'm using twitch.tv by the way.

Start by going here: http://testmy.net/

and, then with this: https://obsproject.com/estimator

... try and come up with the best balance between quality and framerate. There is no clear cut answer to your question, it all depends on the stability of your own Internet connection, on the level of quality you absolutely need or want and on the content you are streaming.

Note: Ensure that for both the testmy.net test and in OBS itself you pick a server close to you. And, in closing -- from personal experience I have found that anything over Quality 7 no longer starts adding relevant additional quality. Q-8 and up do indeed look better but only marginally while still steadily costing increasing bandwidth. As much as you might want to stream pixel perfect content, it is simply not going to happen. Some quality loss is incurred on Twitch's end of things and there is nothing you can do to counter that.
