Need new YouTube stream key every time I live stream

I don't know if I changed a setting unknowingly, but every time I live stream to YouTube I have to reset the stream key before I can live stream again.

I can view the stream key as pasted into the field in OBS and see that it's identical to what appears in my YouTube channel settings. But if I try to live stream a subsequent time after the first (successful) stream, it won't appear on YouTube. But if I reset the stream key, copy and paste in the new key into OBS, and save that it'll work again -- once.

Any suggestions are really welcome, thanks!

So my question on this di they upgrade you to studio? your youtube key doesn't change. are you referring to the URL?

Was there any update on this? i'm having the same trouble and not finding much info on a solution.

It appears that the issue was resolved with a recent OBS update -- within the past month or so I no longer needed to continue to re-copy and paste the same stream key back into OBS every time I started a new stream. I hope that has cleared up the same for you.

No. No it was not fixed in any recent update. 27.7.21 here today.
Totally botched a great and rare stream I had with friends. Reminds me WHY I left youtube for TWITCH to begin with!!!
