Question / Help Need info about nvenc to h264 convertion

I wanna record locally so i Can edit stuff later..
My question is..
Using nvenc with max quality i Can reach about 120gb ssd with about 4h footage...
Do roughly thats 30gb per 60 min footage..
Any idea how long Will it take to load And cut parts from the file split at 4gb And convert it from the nvenc fat capacity to h264 Using 8700k @5ghz
1080p 60 fps
Cause i am thinking of getting a 1tb 500mb/s sata ssd but have only like a total of 4 to 8 hours to cut stuff And 7 days of footage thats 6 to 8h kade a Day...
Also how long Will it take the 8700k to compress it to h264 for about 15 to 30 min of footage

The time for recoding video footage depends on the preset and quality settings you use. The file size as well. It could be anything in terms of time, from minutes to hours, from megabytes to gigabytes. Since nobody answered, nobody seems to have a link ready of some benchmark article. You are on your own.

Make your own benchmark. Recode some own footage with the settings you intend to use and count the time. Create a 10 minute long representative video, recode it, and extrapolate the timespan it takes and the disk space it will occupy if used with longer videos.
