Question / Help Need help with trying to get stream to come together

Hey all wondering if I can get some help. This is all a little confusing to me. Trying to figure out how to stream properly and play my game. So I had everything set up. Got my game to come up on obs. But my problem is how do i play the game and see the twitch chat and all that at the same time. I cant find anything anywhere that answers that question. And I feel stupid and frustrated because I cant get my stream going. When I did try it seemed it streamed for a few mins on fb with no pic just sound. How do I get this all to come together

You need desktop space for that, and the usual solution is to have 2 monitors. One monitor for your game and one monitor for OBS, chats, and everything else you need during stream. If you run your game windowed-fullscreen, not exclusive fullscreen, you can seamlessly move your mouse during play over to the other monitor and activate whatever app you need, then move back to the game after you're done.
