Question / Help Need help with the streaming resolutions.

Hello. My monitor is 1980x1020. My resolution ingame is 1680x1050.
I searched the whole internet and didnt get it. I dont know, i just dont understand what i need to type in obs classic video settings now. Im desperate. Please help. 1680x1050 is a 16:10 resolution, every time i stream there is something cut or there blackbars. SO please tell me what i need to type in The first field: Basic Resolution and in the second; Output resolution in order to get a non cut non blackbars stream. thx

You need to use a 16:9 display resolution to play and capture games to get the best results. The streaming service will likely require it too because it delivers content in 16:9 and will put black bars to correct the ratio problem if it isn't.

Most screen devices today have a 16:9 resolution setting. It is not smart to create content in different resolution sizes outside of a 16:9 ratio expecting your video to fit on all the myriad of screen devices in the world (tablets, computer screens, smartphones, etc.)

Stick to a standard and let the streaming service scale for your viewers. You'll get more viewers this way and not make your stream/recording look messed up.

alright this is the answer i didnt waanna get. let me ask you something, do you have any idea what it means to be a good player ? Im top 50 EU in h1z1 and it is absolutely necessary for me to stream in 16:10 and 1680x1050, cuz otherwise there is no way im gonna keep my rank because i aint hitting anything. How can you be so ignorant. And by the way dude. EVERY competitive h1z1 player streams in custom resolutions. either 4:3 or 16:10 and stretched and shit. Fuck this forum im searching someone who has expeirence with streaming and ask him.
