Hi. I use OBS primarily for recording gameplay for my YouTube channel. The main game that I record is Overwatch.
For a while now, I was using OBS multiplatform on a Windows partition on a Macbook Pro to record gameplay. I recently switched to a custom built PC; you can see a list of the parts here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/OccipitantX/saved/
I am having trouble getting OBS set up on this new machine. My recordings come out extremely stuttery and choppy. It almost doesn't seem to be an issue with the FPS, since the video will jerk between smooth and static images every second or so. I've tried messing around with the settings, but to be fair I'm not too familiar with this program, and would like to learn more, in addition to finding a fix for this problem.
