So, i no longer have 2 rigs.id like to stream and play video games from my one pc if possible. i have a i7 9700k, 16gb 3200mhz ram, 1080ti 11gb and plenty off ssd storage. im running a 1440p monitor that i switch to 1080p for games like pubg. ill be streaming to twitch btw. so i ran some tests trying to just see what i can do. but the game ends up kind of blurry on stream. also when playing pubg i get this weird latency or micro stutter until i close obs. any advise would be great.

Open OBS, go to the Tools menu, run the Auto-Configuration wizard. What it's there for.

Microstutter can be caused by a lot of things. Most commonly by a long-standing Windows bug when running multiple monitors at different refresh rates. We'd need to see a logfile from a streaming or recording session at least 30 seconds in length where the issue was occurring.

@FerretBomb I get the same issues using Auto-Config unfortunately. And that would explain alot, I use a 1440p 165hz monitor for my main and a 1080p 60hz secondary, so that is probably my problem. I will run a Test stream here in a bit and post the log files

[SOLVED] So i figured out my issue. I was having some driver issues. Also another tip i found if you need to free up a little bit of cpu headroom. For noise suppression on my mic, i was using RNNoise. this actually took my stutters away in game for some reason. So i use the speex method and it works great! my background audio isnt too bad so speex is more than enough
