Question / Help need help with odd lag

So im streaming to twitch and im using obs and a elgato hd60 what is very weird is that when ever the game goes to a black screen like a loading screen or coming out of a cinematic screen or after a death when the game goes back to normal theres always this weird lag with both video and audio it also happens right before going to a dark screen ive never seen this before and im using windows 10 so that could be part of the problem i dont know but if anyone could help me out that would be awesome!!!

Nothing looks wrong with OBS according to that log. I'd assume something is going weird with the Elgato. USB 2.0 capture devices have to pre-encode video to fit over the rather restrictive USB 2.0 bus. So if it's not handling the transitions well, that could do it. I'd recommend recording a demonstration video, and contacting Elgato support.

alright yea i mean i pluged it into a 3.0 usb but i dont think thats going to do anything i just not sure whats going on it use to be fine too and now its going weird so i was hoping it was something i was doing wrong tbh

Nope, it's a USB 2.0 device. Plugging it into a 3.0 slot will do nothing, as it doesn't have the extra pins needed to take advantage of 3.0. Some devices will actually malfunction when plugged into a 3.0 port (most notably the Logitech c920) but not in a 2.0 port.
