Question / Help Need Help with OBS and Video Grabber

Ok so I have a few issues that I need to work out. First off I have an old USB CompUSA video grabber that I got that allows me to hook up my old PSone and play games on my computer.

First off I get high encoding warnings when I'm doing this, but that's not the issue (but help dealing with that would not be unwanted). My main issue is with the audio. When recording the audio from the mic input is extremely loud (coming in from the game) and it is causing audio to sound really bad when I'm tested recording. I'm not sure if there is something in OBS that I need to set up to compensate for this audio issue or if there is something else in the computer that I need to adjust.

I can do some recording and post something incase anyone needs to hear what the problem is that I'm having.

Disable cbr, set preset to superfast in advanced tab.

In the encoder tab set the audio format to 44100Hz

where is your audio coming in from your capture card?

You have your mic inputted into obs twice. once in the auxiliary audio input in the audio tab of OBS, and again in the video capture device source for your capture card. if your audio is coming from the USB on your capture card, set the video capture device audio to the source created by it.

Audio isn't over the usb, the audio is through the mic port. So I'll take a look at those adjustments and see what happens.

you'd be better to run it through a line-in instead of mic (might need to change that in realtek software) then disable one of the two audio inputs. having two can cause echo or double audio in.
