I'm not sure what all I need to post for help, but I'll give you the specs of my PC hoping that will at least be a start.

44.73 Mbps DL
6.22 Mbps UL

AMD 8350 running at stock speed
G.Skill Ares 16GB
EVGA GT 740 SC (the 4GB DDR5 model, I know the 740 has a terrible reputation but I can run Fallout 4, Shadow of Mordor, SMITE, Evil Within, Arkham Knight, basically any current game at it's max settings. I don't even want to know how many gfx mods I have for Skyrim and every game runs at 60fps minimum. I have absolutely no trouble with this card online or off)
Using Windows 7 Home Premium
The only thing I have that's old is a Seagate from like 2010 for my D: drive.

Any help would be immensely appreciated, I can totally look all this up myself but if someone experienced can give me a quick fix it'd save a lot of time for me.

Are you just recording locally only or streaming?

If streaming, make sure to put your bitrate at 3500 max. If recording locally you could try putting your bitrate as high as 10,000 - but if recording locally un-check "use CBR" and set the quality to 10; setting both Max bitrate and buffer size to the same, high number.

See how that all goes; post back any further help you need.

You're the best! Worked perfectly, I had my bitrate set to 1k only, that's exactly the kind help I was looking for. Thank you.

Glad to help.

Just, like I said, that high bitrate is only to be used for local recording/non streaming. If you ever stream online don't go above 3500.
