hi guys, my first time here and i have a lot of firsts at the moment so bare with me. i have to create an artist video for a college class so i got obs because i have never made one before, looked up a few youtube videos on setting it up as i know VERY LITTLE about the program and thus my problem is this.
after recording a few test videos i have an odd with the length and speed of the video vs audio. it seems that the longer the actual file plays the more ... "unsynced"... the audio and video becomes, they don't lag or have frame stutters to the naked eye and appear smooth btu the audio seems to speed up. i have things like the audio playing gunshots 30 seconds to a min before the video shows the gun firing. of course at the beginning everything is nice, synced up and well but the longer it goes the worse this problem becomes. its like a curve effect. in different tests to help with this, i tried lowering my bit count, which helped with the initial speed of the video (the first try was insanely laggy but not in further tests) but the weird "unsyncing" still happens.
if you need a log, lemme know how to find that and i will post it for you, as i saw a different thread of people asking for the log.
