Question / Help Need Help tracking down an issue

I asked on reddit and was recommended to post the issue here so i will copy the message and add new info/log at the bottom. Thanks for any help

Hi okay i am new to reddit and using obs but i am in need of help because i am out of ideas and i appreciate any help you guys can provide.

So i Started streaming for fun back in January with obs at first it was great i had very few frame drops and everything was stable then near the end of February my stream became very unstable i started dropping frames every couple of mins and the bit rate was moving wildly between 5000-100 and even reach zero at times.

Now things i did trying to fix the issue was the following:

  1. Lowered bit rate from 5000 to 4500,4000,3500,3000,2500,2000 And ran a stream for at least an hour, had the same issue altho it slow down a little at the 2000 but still happened.
  2. Uninstalled everything and tired different builds still had the issue
  3. Called ISP and they sent a tech out who checked the line was told everything was fine but they found some crashes on my modem and switched, still had the issue
  4. Lowered from 1080 to 720 60fps still had the issue
  5. Changed lan cable 3 times
  6. Tired streaming to mixer instead of twitch
  7. Used the x264, hardware Nvenc and Nvenc new
  8. Checked the log and from what i understand all the frame drop was linked to network issue
  9. Streamed directly from my ps4 with out capture card or laptop after about an hour i watched the video on the twitch channel from what i can tell there where no drops
So after all of this i am out of ideas and cant understand what has changed and why can i stream from my ps4 fine if obs is saying i have network issues? Does this mean there is an issue with either my capture card or laptop?

Thats the log from this morning the issue wasnt as bad as it has been the last week but still happens, the biggest drop happened when my bitrate jumped to 7000 for a couple of seconds.

Anyone know why my stream directly from the PS4 seems to be free of dropped frames but laptop+obs has issues?
