Question / Help Need Help to Optimize OBS for Recording.

Hi , I'm having trouble with OBS. I'm trying to record games that I could edit later. I've visited youtube videos that would help me do this but they don't necessarily work. I've also tried tweaking the setting I copied from people who explained it on said videos only to get a sub par recording.

Prior to my fiddling the settings I made wouldn't let me record at all.I would hit record and it would stop capturing around 1-5 seconds.

After Fiddling with it it continues to record now but the Warning for High Encoding persists and it makes the recording rather choppy with constant stopping and skipping occurring. Which was on Superfast, after switching to Ultra fast it seemed abit ok.

All I'm looking for is a way to record the games I play on Steam so that I can edit them and post them on youtube. That is my goal, so please help.

I decided to pick doing recordings again and prior to coming back it was recording alright. Then I kinda changed my setting later when I had thoughts about streaming my artwork on Picarto. Now I'm trying to comeback to recording and I can't seem to get it to work. Please help.

Bumping this, before it gets buried. Jeez 24 hours and not a single soul decided to help me. Wth

So I looked through some older logs. I manage to get OBS recording again but in honesty the quality isn't outstanding.

Here's my current log, if there's anything that I can do to improve it please tell, pretty please. I need help. I know I sound alittle desperate, but come on there's gotta be a tech wizard that can help me out here.

I've already ran this through the analyzer and its found atleast 5 issues. 5 Issues I've tried to fix and only ending up with the recording looking worse than it does now.

Aside from that I still get High Encoding warnings although it doesn't effect the recording much other than the skipped frames that occur I can still record but the frame skipping is being a pain.
