So this is my so called "mid" rig setup:

Windows 7 64-bit SP1
Intel Pentium CPU G2030 @ 3.00GHz
8gb ram
GeForce GT 730

I want to do a recording for CSGO, i need guides for a smooth record with good quality(Best depends on my rig)
So what settings do i need to adjust?

Using OBS

Im still new in this recording stuff btw

Thank you :3

You have a (very) weak CPU. That said this might help you:

For OBS Studio, use the recording quality presets under Settings > Output (Simple output mode) or read http://obsproject.com/forum/resourc...lity-recording-and-multiple-audio-tracks.221/ (Advanced output mode) | For OBS Classic, read http://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/

So basically overall, its just only my cpu that dosent let me record good quality?

Well i've tried the guide you gave, and it lags, so im guessing its my cpu usage since you said i got weak one right?

If that's the case, is it okay to ask a suggestion for my mobo Asus P8Z77-M socket 1155? What cpu should i get recommended?

You'll have to check with your Motherboard/system manufacturer to see exactly which CPUs are compatible.

That said, the socket supports Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPUs.

In general, the minimum CPU I recommend is a 4-core i5, minimum speed 2.6GHz. Of course if you can get something faster, then you'll be better off in both the short and long run.

Also, as to the topic of recording: If you had a higher end GPU you could use NVENC (think NVidia GTX GPUs, at least a 750Ti) and not have to upgrade your CPU to record.
