I recently started streaming and im doing stream test. When i stream at 60 fps at 1920x1080 downgraded to 1280x720 my stream and my computer would start freezing. I never notice it in game but i notice it in the live stream. After about 20 minutes of streaming the stream would start to freeze. I dont drop frames or anything while this happens.I have a GTX 780 and an 17 4770k cpu. I stream at about 3000 bit rate since i get about 70 download and 30 upload speeds.Today i tested and i can stream perfectly fine at 30 fps. The thing is, i really want to stream at 60 fps since all i play is fps games. One thing i think might be the issue is that my 780 is fucked up and i need a new one to fix the freezing issue. If that's the case im all good because i have a 980 ti on its way. i have a one pc streaming set up and i really want to stream at 60 fps 720p.
Sorry for the lack of grammar but im sleepy as fuck.

Post a log file. Screenshots aren't needed, as your settings are included in the log, which also has information about what's happening on the back end.

With the realistic bitrate requirements for a non-partner, 60fps above 480p isn't going to be a wise tradeoff if you want to encourage channel growth; the bitrate needed to maintain quality at double the framerate isn't in the budget at 720p.

720p@30fps, 2000kbps. 3000 is going to send a lot of your potential viewership into buffering hell. Likewise, there's no need to use a custom buffer; that should be disabled. 160kbps AAC audio should be turned down to 96kbps (it will almost be an inaudible difference, but save more bitrate and make your channel more accessible). The screenshots you posted show no downscale at all. Post a logfile.

Once your base settings get fixed, you can focus on dropping the x264 preset to a slower speed, which will use more CPU but use better compression, and look better at the same bitrate, which is extremely important for non-partnered casting.

Thank you for the feed back. I knew that having bitrate as a none partner is a bad idea because I wouldn't have quality options in the stream. I did change the settings though thank you for that. Now I want to know what is causing my stream to lag when I stream at 720p 60fps. With a i7 4770k processor and a gtx 780 I would think I'm good to go. If I ever become partner I would like the options to set this setting with no issues involved. Again thank you for your help.https://gist.github.com/248421d49f05f68bf8a3
