Hi everyone.
This is my first time on the forums. So I have this issue recently and I honestly don't know what is wrong. So I have been using OBS for 2 months now and it has worked great. I have manage to fix recording issues by changing certain settings.
I use a PC to record. I decided I wanted to move my laptop on the desk so I removed my second monitor. Now this is where the issue arrives. I decide I want to put my monitor back in its place and record so I can see OBS recording my video on the second monitor and have the first monitor as my game monitor. The weird part comes as OBS does not want to record with the second monitor anymore,
I thought it was because I had a bad monitor so I switched for another monitor which I know 100% would work and for some reason it still doesn't work. OBS only likes it when the second monitor is inactive (Turned off or disabled in windows 10)
Now your probably wondering I edited some settings by mistake. NOPE. The only setting I changed was when I wanted to know how to make my MIC snowball louder so people can hear me instead of the game cutting me out. I haven't edited any of the settings before to disrupt the video in anyway.
My specs are:
GTX 980 2GB VRAM
Intel core I5 Haswell
8GB DDR3 Memory clocked at 800MHz (Should be clocked at 1200MHz) <--- BIOS update removed my OC settings: Note: I updated my BIOS before I even had OBS. Almost like 2 years ago.
1TB WD Hardrive (black)
256GB WD Hardrive (black)
Windows 10 64BIT
