need help reaching a stable 30fps+ stream. will post pc build, then screen cap settings, then will try to post what all odds and ends i know until taking requests for more info, or suggestions to optimize OBS to help meet my demand.
PC Specs:
CPU: i5-2500 at 3.3ghz
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 660TI
RAM: 12GB (2x 4gb G.skill ripjaws, 2x 2gb G.skill Ripjaws)
obviously i'm in need of a CPU upgrade, but cant right now. probably where my problem lies.
I'm v0.657b. tried tweaking NVENC quality presets, resolution downscale, and which programs are running on my pc. doing nothing but previewing, when i switch to my monitor and webcam scene, it drops from 30fps to 20-22fps. when playing a game (Rainbow Six: Siege) it drops anywhere between 15-20fps. and only when i'm in a game does it tell me that i'm maxing out my CPU. i'm pretty sure i have zero internet issues, however, it's not as fast as i wish it could be (upload-wise).
I'm not sure if this is adjustable via settings, or if i have no other choice but to either upgrade my CPU, or build a streaming PC to take the load off my main build.
