Question / Help Need Help On My Stream Settings

okay so these are my PC Specs its a laptop but still i just have a question on why my stream is lagging so much i like streaming and when i stream i like to play music or use skype or both but my upload speed is 10-11 mbps so i shouldnt have that much of a problem right? im just confused and looking for some help haha thanks for anything and i use itunes for music

need more details. post your OBS log file from the help menu. Make sure its a log that you've tried to stream with. copy the link to the logfile here.

also running this might help:

Run it for your local contenent (i.e. US or EU, exc)

After its done, post a screen shot of the results.
 
You're most likely lagging because you are pushing your cpu to hard then, but we don't know before you post your log. You can reduce CPU usage by lowering the recording resolution and/or fps. You can also do it by lowering the x264 encoding preset but I wouldn't recommend that.

be careful with your wording. some people see lower and think lower = slower which its counter-intuitive.

read what I wrote above. your stream is lagging somewhere between you, your ISP and the twitch ingest server
