Question / Help Need help not sure what my settings should be with my video card+ram.

Currently I am needing help diturmining what settings I should use with my NVIDEA GeForce GT 640 video card and my 4 GB of RAM. If there is any more specs I need to say here I will post below in the comments. Anyways back on topic. I've been trying to figure out how to get the best quality and performance with the video recorder. As I am not using it to live stream. And I absolutely cannot figure out what settings I should use. And every time I lower the fps in the video settings thinking I might get better performance in my video it still gives that studdering lag in the game. Idk how to fix it or what other settings I should use. I have been wanting to use shadow play to record my games because it is more simpler. But unfortunately my video card does not support it. So I have resulted to using this program instead. Main games I will be trying to record will be American Truck Simulator multiplayer. Euro Truck Simulator multiplayer. Farming Simulator multiplayer. Spintires. War Thunder. and Finally Rocket League which will be the trickiest to record since it is online multiplayer only. So if any help can be provided it will be greatly appreciated since I am extremely new to recording on YouTube. Thanks! :)

In settings - output,
Set output mode to simple
Recording quality to indistinguishable
Encoder to the Software low cpu use one.
