Hi my name is dany and i need help to find a Laptop for my Outdoor #VanLIVE Streams.

Only what the Laptop must do is.. running a NGNIX Rtmp Server where i can catch 1-3 Actioncams Streams and OBS that Stream that to an other Rtmp Server in 1600x900 60FPS

I wonder if that one is ok for that https://www.amazon.de/Microsoft-Sur...rds=laptop+12+zoll&qid=1631474730&sr=8-4&th=1

So i hope someone can help me with this, or i have to find a better Laptop.

thanks AUTdany

Realize that real-time video encoding is VERY computationally demanding.
Surface's, and that style of ultra-low power, optimized for battery life, subject to thermal throttling, laptops will struggle with the computationally demanding task of real-time video encoding. Can it do it? sure, maybe, depends (on a lot more detail than posted above)

Things like how well you optimize an under-powered computer Operating System (knowing which background processes can, and should not, be disabled. etc). Then OBS filters and effects can have significant CPU impact.
And in your scenario, I don't see why running NGNIZ server? Is that to receive the action cam footage? Otherwise, why bother? Are you planning to use WiFi or cellular to link Action Cams to OBS? if yes, beware wireless contention challenges

So might that low-power laptop work - depends on settings, and how much time you are willing to invest in learning to optimize Operating System and OBS, and all the other connection bits. And realize laptop battery life will be pretty poor, so probably need external power source.

I would like to re-emphasise the point made by @Lawerence - BATTERY life will be critical in any mobile streaming solution you come up with. You will need a portable power source to do this for longer than the battery life on your laptop.
