Question / Help Need HELP, Black borders on right and left of stream + ping

I'm streaming with 1024 x 768 and it has black borders on the right and left of my stream and plenty of people said its annoying , how do I remove it? Tried everything...



When I'm playing I also experience high ping... And already checked the "Minimize Network Impact"

Unfortunately, if you play/capture a 4:3 resolution it will never look perfect on Twitch. Since their player is using the 16:9 aspect ratio.

Regarding the high ping -- a high ping ingame usually hints at too high a bitrate in OBS for your connection. Just drop the bitrate in OBS in steps of 50Kbps until the ping is good.

cant I capture in 16:9 even if my monitor doesn't fit it?

LOL, ok. I found out that there is actually no problem at all, at least for my black borders.Its how you view it on twitch that show's you the black bars.Go to one of your videos or any stream on twitch for that matter and click on the arrows next to chat or that bar thingy on the left side.If you do you'll see every stream has black bars.So just adjust how your viewer your twitch page is set up and it won't show the black bars.
