Need help about multi sound output separately

Hello ,
I am new to OBS , and I am thinking whether I should add one external sound card which I can run few OBS and VLC and separate each sound output in the same computer to different streaming.
If it's possible , which sound card I should buy for PC to do so ? Now my laptop is only 2 audio output , Speaker and Headphone , not enough .
Can some experienced OBS users give me some suggestion please ? Many thanks

It's not clear what you want to achieve, since OBS doesn't require any sound card at all for base functionality. If you want to run more than 1 instance of OBS, you might look at virtual audio devices such as from vb-audio.

Thanks for your help , Let me try to explain :
As you can see , I only have 2 way to separate the sound output . Can I have more ? if I buy one external soundcard , it will increase more ?
so I can select few more to separate where the sound from which software during the streaming ?
Thanks

You have more output devices, if you just install a virtual audio device. You don't need to add a physical sound card, if you only want to capture audio with OBS, but not actually output the audio to a physical device such as speakers or headset.
