Need an OBS expert to help (paid gig) with my OBS/Zoom setup (I almost have it working!)

Hello,

Hoping to find an OBS expert to help me get my OBS & Zoom setup working. I've just about got it... but can't get the recording figured out.

Here are the details...

I'm setting up OBS with Zoom so that I can conduct an online, interactive course for ending depression. The aim is to conduct the course live via Zoom, but also record it in high quality to an external SanDisk 2TB SSD. There will be an instructional portion, then an interactive discussion portion. I've resigned myself to not using OBS for the live interactive discussion part, as I doubt there's a way to get good, sync'd audio & video. So I'd be OK with using Zoom's built-in recording for that. Kind of a bummer... but willing to make compromises at this point.

I'm running on a 2018 Macbook Pro i9 with 32 GB RAM and a 2TB SanDisk external SSD for recording. I'm working with the following inputs:

- Panasonic GH5 camera audio & video via USB3.0 capture card.
- iPhone camera video capture (for overhead shots or 3-camera shoots)
- Samsung S8 camera video capture (for 3-camera shoots)
- Media clips from videos I've downloaded off of YouTube*
>>>> * I tried using VLC to play the media clips but every once in a while I get terrifying blasts of sizzling, noise hum audio (I mean extraordinarily LOUD blasts!!) so I've decided not to attempt using that source anymore.
- Lots of images & illustrations
- Zoom attendee audio (if possible)
- Zoom attendee video (if possible)

Between an assortment of VB-Cables and iShowU audio capture, I have 4 audio I/Os that can be used for audio routing.

I'm about 90% of the way there with pretty much everything working EXCEPT for recording. I can't figure out how to get audio into my recordings. Actually I did succeed at getting the Zoom attendee audio into the recording, but I don't really understand how, and I'm not having any luck with the others. I used to run Pro-Tools and an Allen & Heath audio mixer for live recordings at an educational institute, but it was mostly analog and really just one digital input & output to manage. Either way, I'm missing some kind of insight into how to get this all working together.

As for the consulting arrangement, we could set up an hourly consulting fee but also set a minimum payment amount so that you know for sure that it will be worth your time... just in case it turns out to be a 15 min fix and that's it (at this point I'm willing to pay for someone else's understanding, even if it only takes a few minutes to pass it along). Though I'd also be interested in expertise to help optimize the system... to ensure good quality recordings, good streaming, backups, sync'd inputs & outputs, etc.

If you're interested, please direct message me. Thanks!
