Question / Help Need Advice on Settings

Hello there, so I decided to do some streaming, everything went well, but I think I could handle abit more quality, here is a recent video from my stream you can see the quality http://www.twitch.tv/edvardas_/c/3446264 .

My specs are:
Intel Core i7 4770
8GB DDR3 1600MHz
3 GB GeForce GTX 780 Ti

So could an experienced person recommend me some key OBS settings I should use/set to?

Hi, So you're streaming at 1500kbps bitrate 720p@30fps and using "fast" preset for a racing game i gotta say that it looks alot better than it should be at that bitrate but at the same time i still think that a 1.75 downscale or even down to 540p should be alot more beneficial when it comes to maintaining quality with your upload.

Thanks, will try 540p, by the way I'm not really sure about the x264 CPU Preset option, with my CPU what option would you recommend me to use? Also should I use a filter? I currently have it set to Bilinear.

Generally the default "veryfast" should be good enough to provide a nice ration between quality and CPU work. Since you went for 540p You might also wanna try "medium" CPU preset and use lanzos filter for a sharper looking stream.

it doesnt even look that bad with your 720p settings to be honest ... it could obviously look better but its not that worse in my opinion
