My gaming pc and streaming pc are both connected to my router, however, the connection is too slow as in the stream is extremely laggy. So, I was wondering if it is possible to stream from my gaming pc to my streaming pc through an ethernet cable?
To clarify, I'm currently using the latest version of both OBS and the NDI plugin. I realize that as long as both pcs are on the same network through the same router I can stream from my gaming pc to my streaming pc, but because they both are connected to the router through Wifi the connection is both brittle and slow. The stream between the two pcs is really choppy. I was wondering if it is possible to use NDI to stream by a local ethernet connection between the gaming pc and the streaming pc?
I know I'm probably missing a lot of details just let me know and I'll supply it posthaste!
