Question / Help NDI plugin, from MAC to PC

Hi,
I am attempting to use the NDI plugin to take information from a MAC computer using propresenter, to my windows laptop for streaming purposes. the issue I'm running into is that I run through the setup steps, but when I go to my windows computer and try to find the Mac's "stream" nothing comes up.

http://www.obs.live/articles/2019/5/1/how-to-stream-with-two-pcs-using-obs-studio-and-the-ndi-plugin is the article I followed.

Just to confirm the steps I took.
Have OBS studio downloaded on both machines.
Have the NDI plugin on both machines.
On the Mac(1st machine) I open the NDI output settings.
Click on the "main output" (Though I do not have an option to name it)
Go to the Windows machine.
Add input sourced from NDI.
There is nothing within the options to select from.

Both machines are on the same network.

You make no mention that you have installed the NDI Runtime on both machines. Look at the release notes, links to download them are included on the page. Or, you can just install the NDI Tools, the download links are at the bottom of the second link.

Just came across the same problem. For me, on Mac, there will be a reminder when launching OBS if NDI Runtime was not installed; on Windows 10, the NDI Runtime will be automatically installed during the installation of the NDI plugin.
Maybe this has something to do with the problem: my MacBook Air seems invisible to my Windows 10 PC though they have been set as in the same workgroup.

A further update:
To exclude the possibility that OBS is the criminal, I have installed NDI Tools on my Windows PC and successfully detected the NDI source from the MacBook OBS; weirdly but fortunately, I opened my OBS on the PC and could also detect and use the NDI source from my MacBook.
Maybe something was not ready without an installation of NDI Tools.
I am so happy to finally get them working after searching for this topic for a lot of time since last Sunday.
Hope this will be helpful to someone else.
side notes: there is no NDI monitor app on android: to exclude the possibility that my PC is the problem, I tried to monitor the NDI sources using my android phone; however, after a few trials, I found on Google that there is no such NDI monitor app on any ARM-based phone.
