NDI died with new router

Got a new Asus router and it seems that NDI stopped working. The receiving PC stream is freezing. Audio seems to be fine. Streams for 5 secs and then it slows down and after a few more seconds the video doesn't move anymore. Have 4 computers and they all quickly streamgo in slomo and stops - only showing the last image.

Tried all settings...

Have you tried connecting your two computers to a switch that isn't the one built in to the router?

Thanks! I use an external switch for 3 of them. No. 4 goes into the Asus router. Will try switching that over :-)

In case you're still having trouble.

Connecting all 4 computers to the same switch works perfectly even though it is only a 100mps switch and moving the main PC back to the 1000mps router produced the problem again.

I tried disabling QoS, Jumbo Frames, and Enable IGMP snooping - but no difference. The other settings that are mentioned in the manual are nowhere to be found in my Router. Unless maybe they have another name...

Disabling the firewall in the router seems to make it work so maybe it is some ports that needs to stay open?

Ok - Disabling the firewall only worked for a short time - if it worked at all. Became slower and slower and stopped transmitting.

And I tried streaming for an hour today with the firewall disabled and it worked. So there must be some firewall setting I need to find.

I agree, you already started the process so you might want to follow the Resolving Issues section in the NDI Problem Solving guide.
