Native Resolution (1920x1080) is "laggy"

Hello :)

I've been searching the forums for the solution but I haven't found anything that would help me, anyway to the point.
Recently when I record gameplay my videos are kind of laggy and not smooth, so to say. My gameplay is fine and I'm not dropping any frames nor in gameplay or in OBS (stays 60/60).
I've tried doing all sorts of stuff like dropping quality settings and nothing seems to work EXCEPT, when I downscale my resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 or lower.
I know it may seem like a solution, but I don't want to be doing that or at least I want to know why is that the only thing that works, and how could I fix it.

You are using CQP mode. Switch to preset P1 and quarter pass mode. This will not affect the quality, but the load on the encoder will be significantly less.

It didn't change anything sadly. I was thinking that it could be my CPU, because my GPU is much stronger but it still doesn't make sense, because I'm not recording games that would stress my GPU, and still my gameplay is smooth, only the recording isn't...
