Question / Help Naming a camera...

okay, so I have a simple question to a convoluted situation. Make sure you're seat cushion is nice and fluffy. This will take a little bit to explain.

Okay I'm working on setting up a live stream for my modeling website (The Resurrected Hobbyist). I've got a windows 10 computer setup with a GTX 460 card to handle the encoding. I'm using 2 Logitech C920 webcams for my cameras. One camera is a high wide angle camera, while the second is a lower close up angle. I'm working with OBS for the actual control of the streaming. Well I've encountered a bit of an irritating issue.

I need to control the zoom level for the respective cameras. So I go into OBS, go to edit the scene, select the input names "High angle" which is the the camera directly over my work space. Select the "configure" option, which brings up the Logitech Control software. Go to change the zoom level... only to see that zoom is not changing. okay... switch camera and try again. Ah this time it does change. Cool. Go to the other camera source in OBS, open the configure window, go to adjust the zoom... and again doesn't change the zoom. Switch the camera source to the other camera, and go to change the zoom... and it doesn't change. switch back to the first camera again and try the zoom control again. This time it works. Okay, so I've got the zooms set. Great, I do to save the scene and close OBS. But when I go and re-load OBS later, the zoom settings are not saved so I go through that entire series of efforts again. It seems like the source in the scene can differentiate which camera is which, but when I go to edit scene and pull up the configure option to change the zoom, the selector in the configure window loads the cameras randomly so I can't tell which camera is which.

Short version: OBS doesn't save the zoom settings from the Logitech controls. So I trying to address this.

So, what am I asking for? Well, does anyone know a way to change the identifying display name for an input device? From what I can tell OBS pulls the name from the Windows Device manager. So I'm thinking that's where I need to change the name. Any help on this one?
