Hello peeps !

I need your help, I am kinda bad at setting up my OBS and i don't know how to stop this issue.

On all of my recording (so in local, to upload on youtube) I have several 1-2 sec freezes of the video inside the recod, while the sound is running without a bug.
I don't understand why.

At first i tried the OBS "auto settings" on a HDD with indistinguishable quality in 1440p rendering 1080p
Then i tried advanced settings on a SSD + high priority + running in admin but same issue in 1440p with no downscaling

Here is my last log event on a 55mn video :
And attached are my advanced settings and the frame captured statistics that show everythins is okay :
-The 194 / 341084 frames late are done on the first second of the video then after no other frame lost
-The 2 / 191397 "image jump" appeared when i stopped the video, not during the recording.

Can someone help me to solve this issue please ?
Thanks a lot !

Unless your using several audio sources for editing latter, use simple output mode.
Run the Auto-configuration Wizard an apply the recommended settings. Then in recording select one of the presets.

But if you want to use advanced output mode, don't use CBR or VBR, select CQP and the use a CQ value between 23 and 15 (lower better quality)

Well it seems that with the auto wizard i have thoses wierd slutterings.
I will try running CQP at 20, the default value

The log files look good, with the exception that you use CBR for recording. You should use a quality based rate control such as CQP. Except this, the recordings seem flawless from OBS' point of view.
Try a different media player, for example VLC. The Windows integrated player has difficulties with resolutions and bitrates that high.
